Congratulations to UWA Director Janette Komoda Kim, whose firm All of the Above and LMNOP, led by CCA alumnus Tyler Pew (MArch 2012) were awarded the 2024 Innovation Fund from the Build It Green Network. This grant will support outreach for Mix & Match, a board game that enables community members to design unique investment and ownership arrangements for affordable and equitable housing.

Mix & Match: A Toolkit for Housing Solutions is a transformative board game designed to empower community members—especially those historically underrepresented—to lead in designing housing models tailored to their specific needs. Mix & Match was initially developed in response to the housing crisis exacerbated by the 2021 Dixie Fire in Plumas County. The game fosters dialogue and collaboration among players, helping them explore innovative, community-specific solutions, thereby reshaping conversations around housing and development systems.
